Art Criticism Workshop with Lee Weng Choy

The last two decades has seen the emergence of contemporary art across Southeast Asia. Art writing, however, has lagged behind art practice in the region. As part of ILHAM’s long-term investment in developing art practice in Malaysia, critic Lee Weng Choy facilitates a discussion on why criticism matters, and will guide participants through a set of exercises aimed at developing the craft of criticism.
